RURAL BUSINESS FACILITIES
WWD has been involved in this quite innovative style of rural buiness development for many years. It provides out of town, small business accomodation for companies who do not need a city location.
We came up with the idea over 15 years ago and deployed it succesfully in Hatch Beauchamp and Wellington in Somerset. Laterly, similar projects have proven successful in and around Devon, including our own premisis at Splatford. We have just achived permission for another phase here and one at Clyst St Mary.
A sustainable location is the key and we advocate cost effective, timber frame construction and low energy consumption as a platform for premisis that any small business would be delighted to occupy.
